ALMA REFRIGERATORS LTD has been operating in the field of commercial refrigerator construction since 1970. Its founder Mr Andreas Christodoulou, in 1988 moved away from existing professional establishment that was dominant in the Cypriot market and directed the main activities of the company towards the import of commercial refrigerators and walk-in cold rooms from various European countries. Following this he expanded the company’s activities to include the import of check-out and shelving.
The result of the continued development of the company was the first autonomous installation of a centralised system in Cyprus in 1992. since the product development has continue to grow through cooperation with large European companies, along with training of the human resources, with particular emphasis on quality and providing a 24-hour support service to its customers.
Today the company maintains its own headquarters in Nicosia, as well as two branches in the suburbs of Larnaca and Paphos, employing 30 staff.
The company’s immediate plans are to make comprehensive as well as alternative recommendations to its customers. This will be possible through fouture cooperation with new exclusive distributions.
Parallel to this, the company will continue expanding its services further into the Middle East through cooperation with local companies within the relevant countries.
